Enterprise Class Audio/Video Interview Recording System Specifically Designed For Law Enforcement
EASY TO USE AV RECORDING SYSTEM
EASY TO INSTALL
AVfusion is an easy-to-install, easy-to-use, network-based audio/video recording system designed for interview rooms, where recording frame-by-frame, synchronized audio and video is critical. It allows law enforcement and legal professionals to quickly launch sessions, catalog them with data, search and retrieve recordings all—from a secure desktop computer. The system is ideal for recording interviews with suspects, victims and witnesses, and is currently deployed in police interrogation and legal applications as a forensic recording system.
EASY TO INTEGRATE
AVfusion is a police interview recording solution designed specifically to work with network (IP) video cameras and take advantage of network connectivity. Set up your cameras to record in whatever location you desire, and the AV recording is transmitted over the network to a central recording location. Connect many cameras to a single AVfusion system simultaneously. Recording is as simple as clicking a button, and recorded files can be shared and viewed using standard multimedia players used by today’s computers, tablets and smart phones.
AVfusion makes video capture, storage and playback extremely easy. Officers and other operators are able to use the system with little to no training. Three simple tabs control the entire user interface.
Users can select a room from the left navigation bar, enter event details which become searchable keywords for recordings, add notes during a live interview and use the Control Panel to start recordings, create bookmarks and reserve rooms.
The Interview Search feature of AVfusion makes video playback extremely easy. Enter a keyword or tag from the subject name, interview title, room name, case number or bookmarks to find matching results instantly from one central database.
Once a matching clip is selected, playback begins automatically from a centralized database. Simple controls allow the user to navigate through the clip and export if necessary.
Operators can choose which cameras to include in the export and whether or not to include the interview notes.
AVfusion uses an industry standard file format (.mp4) to record and export video clips. Clips can be played on any computer without special software. Once the clips are rendered, they can easily be burned to DVD or copied to a flash drive.
Videos can be rendered as Video Mosaics. This creates a picture-in-picture effect for multi camera playback.
MULTI ROOM SUPPORT
Multiple interview rooms can be monitored simultaneously in the overview tab. Audio from any room can be monitored by simply selecting a camera and clicking the listen button.
AVfusion recording equipment is fully integrated with Microsoft Active Directory. Active Directory provides a single point from which administrators can create, edit and manage User Login Credentials for AVfusion. Use the same credentials to login to AVfusion as you would to login to your desktop PC. Permissions to specific cameras, rooms and recorded archives are controlled by AVfusion.
System Administrators can use the History feature to review a detailed audit trail of all user interaction. Use filters to rapidly identify a specific use case.
AVfusion is fully integrated with Edesix Body Worn Cameras. Can be used for interviews performed outside the designated rooms. Up to 2 hours battery while streaming video continuously. Built-in microphone. WiFi can be used in conjunction with Mobile Cellular Hot Spots.
AVfusion is built on a client/server architecture and all video is stored in a central database on a Windows Server. Recorded HD Video is stored digitally on High Performance RAID storage arrays. Access to the video files is protected by Windows Active Directory and AVfusion permissions, making this evidence management system exceptionally secure.
