Give your front line security the tool they need to quickly verify key card and PIN users and decide if they should be granted access to the building. C3 Fusion Access Commander is a middleware application that combines key data from your access control and video management systems into a single display. All the actionable information is laid out in three easy-to-understand views – free of extraneous details that could distract operators and lead to decision paralysis.
The traditional approach to access control and video management integration is to run the two consoles in parallel. This forces operators to divide their attention while simultaneously struggling to synthesize two data sources into a cohesive understanding of an event. To extract the pertinent information and formulate an appropriate response all in a matter of seconds is an overwhelming and sometimes impossible task.

It’s hard for operators to extract, synthesize and react to pertinent information quickly
when separate Access Control and VMS monitors run side-by-side.
C3 Fusion Access Commander Focuses on the Essentials
In contrast, C3 Fusion Access Commander uncomplicates the integrated solution by boiling down the experience to just the essential elements – who’s coming through that particular entry point and what the security operator should or can do about it. The straightforward interface allows the security guard to control door access – open or lock mechanisms at will – as well as see a list of cameras associated with each entry point being monitored. From the display, the operator can call up any and all camera views – current or recent history – as well as manipulate any pan/tilt/zoom features the cameras may possess. The interface is so intuitive that the learning curve is about 10 minutes or less.

How C3 Fusion Access Commander Works
C3 Fusion Access Commander simultaneously combines information from the access control and the video management systems through an unobtrusive center server. From the access control system it filters selected events and delivers door control messages in real time to the unified console. It also brings in live and recorded/historical video from the video management system. The central server stores all logged data and facilitates operation of one or more Access Commander consoles.
This perfect distillation of access control and video management to just the essential, actionable elements raises security to a new level without overwhelming security personnel deployed as your front line defense.
